The expansion’s named additions are Shadows of Rose, The Mercenaries Additional Orders and Third Person Mode Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition.

The listing also includes the Trauma Pack DLC and access to Resident Evil Re:Verse Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition. The supplied claims don’t give a complete inventory of the standard edition, so a full item-by-item comparison isn’t possible. Which platforms support the Gold Edition, and what are its system requirements on PC?

Resident Evil Village Gold ED was announced for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S Everything Included in Resident Evil Village…. That announcement is a platform list, not a confirmation that every version is currently available through every storefront. The Xbox Store listing identifies PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S as play platforms, and says the Windows version will be available on January 20, Buy Resident Evil Village Gold Edition.

The Amazon item reviewed here is the PS5 version: its listing identifies Sony PlayStation compatibility and a CD-ROM format Resident Evil Village Gold ED – PS5. Although PC appears in the announcement and Xbox Store platform details, the supplied claims contain no PC system requirements. Minimum and recommended specifications therefore can’t be reported. If PC compatibility is your priority, Resident Evil Village Gold ED’s available platform information alone won’t tell you whether your computer meets the game’s requirements.

What is the current price of the Gold Edition on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC?

The Amazon listing for Resident Evil Village Gold ED – PS5 shows a price of $25.69 and an In Stock status Resident Evil Village Gold ED – PS5. Its compatibility detail identifies the item as the Sony PlayStation version, so that figure belongs to the PS5 listing rather than to the game across all platforms Resident Evil Village Gold ED – PS5.

That listing price doesn’t establish a current price for every PlayStation storefront, and the supplied claims don’t provide current PlayStation, Xbox or PC storefront prices. Resident Evil Village Gold ED may have different prices across stores, but no comparison can be made from the information here. Treat $25.69 as the price shown for this Amazon PS5 item, not as a general console or PC price. If you’re comparing digital editions or another platform, the relevant current storefront prices are unavailable in the supplied claims.

If you already own the base game, is buying the Gold Edition or the Winters’ Expansion cheaper?

The Winters’ Expansion includes the extra content featured in Resident Evil Village Gold ED, while the Gold Edition also includes the base game Resident Evil Village Gold – Do You Need To Buy… Everything Included in Resident Evil Village…. That distinction matters if you already own the base game: the expansion is the option described as providing the additional content, whereas Gold Edition is the bundle with the game included.

The supplied claims don’t give a price for The Winters’ Expansion or a price comparison for existing base-game owners. So there’s no supported basis to say which option costs less. If you own the game and want only the added story and modes, compare the current expansion price with the cost of Resident Evil Village Gold ED before deciding. If you don’t own the base game, the bundle’s inclusion of both the game and expansion may fit what you’re looking for, but the claims don’t establish a savings amount. Resident Evil Village Gold ED can’t be called the cheaper choice without prices for both options.

How do you access the Gold Edition’s Shadows of Rose story and other added content in-game?

Shadows of Rose follows Rose Winters years after Village’s storyline and is played from a third-person perspective Everything Included in Resident Evil Village…. The Winters’ Expansion includes that story, The Mercenaries Additional Orders and Third Person Mode Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition. Those are the named additions to look for in Resident Evil Village Gold ED, but the supplied claims don’t include complete menu-by-menu instructions for launching each one.

The Street Wolf Outfit bonus is usable only in Shadows of Rose mode Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition. The Trauma Pack’s Village of Shadows unlock provides access to content that would otherwise be unlocked through gameplay progress Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition. These details explain the listed purpose and mode restrictions for some extras, not the exact steps to find them in-game. Resident Evil Village Gold ED’s listing establishes what is included, but it doesn’t provide enough navigation detail to guide you through every menu. Avoid relying on a specific launch sequence unless you have instructions beyond those supplied here.

Does Shadows of Rose require completing the main story, and how long does it take to finish?

Shadows of Rose is described as following Rose Winters years after the events of Village’s storyline Everything Included in Resident Evil Village…. That is a story setting detail; it doesn’t confirm whether you must complete the main game before starting the DLC. The supplied claims also provide no completion-time estimate.

As a result, Resident Evil Village Gold ED’s available information can’t answer either practical planning question: whether the main story is a prerequisite or how long the expansion takes to finish. If you need confirmed unlock requirements or a playtime estimate before purchasing, the listed details aren’t enough to settle the decision. The 16-year gap shouldn’t be treated as evidence of a gameplay requirement or a measure of DLC length. Resident Evil Village Gold ED includes the expansion according to the bundle description, but its prerequisite and expected duration remain unknown in the supplied claims.
